We often hear the phrase "youth is our future". The young people of Elektrėnai perfectly confirm this saying, setting an example with their work and constant hard work, creating added value not only for their municipality, but also for everyone who visits the city. It all started with a local youth event - a competition. However, improvement, higher funding, originality and attractiveness of the idea took their toll. Now it has grown into a day-long festival at the intersection of 4 historical capitals of Lithuania, attracting many people from all over Lithuania. It is a great platform for young performers to try themselves in a professional capacity - to perform for a large audience, to take the first step towards popularity. The winners are chosen every year by a commission of professionals, this time it consists of a popular performer, the president of the LATGA association Raminta Naujanytė-Bjelle and the youth group "Velvet". The winners of the competition are waiting for not only the title, but also a cash prize of 500 euros.
This year, for the 14th time, Elektrėnis will be rocked by the festival of beginning musical groups and performers "Muzika garsiau 2022", which will be held on August 13 in the "Children's World". The organizers of the event promise a wide range of activities that will not let anyone get bored. Visitors will have a wide choice of activities: sports (disc golf, volleyball, table tennis, shooting) competitions (from 10 a.m.), outdoor games, candy-making education (from 5 p.m.), foam show (from 6 p.m.), cinema in a different way ( from 2 p.m.), the bar of the Elektrėnai Youth Center, an escape room (from 1 p.m.) and even an orientation competition (from 2 p.m.), allowing participants to get to know the city more closely. This year, Silvija Vaškelytė, "Kukis", "Cash Tone", "Appelons'', "Vinnie Jones", "Sacreblue", "Begėdžiai", "Spurr", "Coteryoff" will compete for the main prize on the "Muzika garsiau" stage. , "Mantra".

The year 2022 has been declared the year of Lithuanian youth, so at 16:00 a discussion initiated by the Elektrėnai Municipality Youth Affairs Council and "Opportunities Fair" will be held, which will be attended by various non-governmental youth organizations from all over Lithuania and other guests: Liberal Youth of Lithuania, Union of Lithuanian Students, Council of Lithuanian Youth Organizations, Elektrėnai Youth Center, Elektrėnai Vocational Training Center, Youth Affairs Agency, "I know what I'm choosing", MB "IFuture Investments", "Red Cross", Firefighters' Education. Participants in the discussion - invited youth representatives or persons working with youth: member of the Seimas Silva Lengvinienė, LIJOT president Domantas Katelė, Elektrėnai JRT representative Paulius Sagevičius, Elektrėnai youth affairs coordinator Neringa Pulauskienė, JRA representative Gintarė Stankevičienė and head/founder of the Institute of Political Research and Analysis Nerijus Miginis . For young people who have nowhere to express themselves, this will be a unique opportunity to discover themselves in different fields.
This year, the main trio of organizers - Liudmila Baslykienė, Barbora Vidauskienė and Liveta Kazlauskaitė - were joined by new faces, the youth representatives of the Elektrėnai Youth Affairs Council.
