The Museum of Local Lore of Kietaviškės Basic School was established in 1981, but even before its establishment, the school carried out ethnographic work: in 1965. a tourism-ethnography group appeared, which separated a year later and became a separate ethnography group. In 1968, the preparation of the Ethnographic Corner was started. 1973 A public museum of local lore is established in the school, although in Kaišiadorys district it is still considered a corner of local lore (not registered in Vilnius). It contains 93 exhibits.
