One fine day, Polas, the father of the teenage girl Zuza, who works at the railway station, is escorted home by a never-before-seen white dog. After seeing such a handsome man, the girl's breath is taken away and she simply begs her father to let the dog stay. But dad explains that no one can keep this dog at all, because he is no one's: he likes to travel by train and only sometimes stops somewhere. However, it soon becomes clear that the white dog would also like to stay with the girl. Named Lampo, the cute animal quickly becomes a favorite of all the locals. Except for Polo's boss, the train station manager, who doesn't like the fame of the dog traveling on trains. Having decided to do everything to get rid of that unfortunate animal, one day he achieves his goal. Realizing that Lampo may never return after he disappears, the girl falls ill. Those around her try to help her in every possible way, although deep down they know very well that only Lamp's return can alleviate the girl's grief. Only if he manages to find his way to his new girlfriend. It took place in 1953-1960. At Tuscany's Campiglia Marittima train station (about 60 km south along the Ligurian coast from Livorno). The dog was cared for by the station keeper Elvio Barlettanis (who later wrote a book about Lampo), and after the dog's death, a statue of Lampo was erected at the station, which still delights people to this day.
